The North Face Aconcagua Vest is a versatile insulated vest designed to block out wind and help retain warmth. Its construction and synthetic insulation make it a practical choice for both city wear and outdoor activities. The modern silhouette works easily with different everyday outfits, while the vest can be worn as an outer layer in changing conditions.
The WindWall™ fabric is made from 100% recycled polyester and features a Non-PFC DWR finish that provides water repellency. The windproof construction helps protect against wind, while synthetic insulation is placed throughout different areas of the vest. The main body contains 200 g of insulation, with 180 g in the side and underarm panels and 60 g in the draft flap.
Practical details include a full-length centre-front zip with a zip garage and zipped hand pockets. The high-low hem provides a distinct shape, while the internal hem cinch-cord allows the hem to be adjusted at two points. Embroidered logos complete the design.
The Aconcagua Vest is well suited to situations where you need a windproof layer with synthetic insulation.
