The Patagonia Men's R1® Air Jacket is a lightweight technical fleece designed for cool conditions. It combines highly breathable, quick-drying fabric with a construction made for movement. Its slim fit and full-length zipper make it a versatile midlayer for mountain activities and other outdoor pursuits.
The jacket is made from 100% recycled polyester. Its jacquard fleece uses hollow-core yarns to wick moisture, dry quickly and provide high breathability during cool-weather activities.
The zigzag-knit pattern increases airflow while minimising bulk. This creates a lightweight, compressible construction suited to active use.
The slim fit and full-length zipper make the jacket easy to put on and take off. The zipper can also be opened to increase ventilation as activity levels or conditions change.
Offset shoulder seams sit comfortably under pack straps. This construction is particularly useful when wearing the jacket with a backpack.
A zippered pocket on the left chest provides storage for small items. Two front pockets feature minimal zippers designed to reduce bulk.
Quick-drying woven binding at the cuffs and back hem helps improve fit and durability.
