The Salomon Equipe Race Skate BOA® is a stiff, narrow-fit skate ski boot engineered specifically for advanced and expert skiers looking to maximize power transmission on the racing track. At the core of this boot is the Carbon Loaded™ chassis and cuff, a specialized injected carbon construction that delivers exceptional torsional rigidity and side support while keeping the overall weight to a strict minimum. The fit around the foot and ankle is highly precise thanks to the integration of the micro-adjustable, multi-directional BOA® Li2 Fit System and SensiFit™ Race technology. This combination locks the foot securely in place, ensuring an immediate snow feel and direct energy transfer with every skate stroke. Complete weather protection is provided by the ClimaSalomon™ Waterproof membrane, boasting a massive 100,000 mm waterproof rating, paired with a waterproof zipper that seals out snow and moisture entirely.
Beyond structural performance, the boot features an advanced customizable interior designed for endurance and racing comfort. The Racing Liner is heat-moldable to adapt precisely to the skier's foot geometry in just ten minutes, while the EVA padding inside the cuff guarantees a comfortable, pressure-free contact area around the lower leg. Getting into the boot is straightforward thanks to the dual strap setup on the front. Furthermore, the two-piece Shell Liner construction allows the inner boot to be replaced over time, significantly extending the lifespan of the equipment. The foundation of the boot consists of an ultra-lightweight Prolink Lab Skate outsole and an OrthoLite® Racing insole, which work together to optimize ski feedback. These boots are fully compatible with Prolink binding systems.
