If you are new to cross-country skiing or are still developing your classic technique, a shorter ski may be a suitable option. If your goal is to improve as a skier, choosing a longer pair may be recommended.

The Salomon Equipe Pro Skin is designed for skiers who want to develop their skills and improve their performance in classic cross-country skiing. Its lightweight, responsive construction supports effective kick and acceleration, while the G5 Universal base is designed to deliver glide across different snow conditions.
The skis are supplied as a set with Shift Equipe Classic bindings. The binding position can be adjusted to help fine-tune the balance between kick and glide in different conditions.
The ultra-lightweight Innowave honeycomb core is made from paper, glue and thin wooden sidewalls. This construction supports efficient power transfer and provides a stable, responsive feel.
The 29 Universal construction is designed for classic skiing and competition. It aims to improve kick and acceleration while making it easier to adjust the pressure point, particularly in common snow conditions.
D2FC Digital Dynamic Flex Control allows digital control of the ski's flex and camber during manufacturing to achieve a construction suited to specific performance requirements.
The eSkinGrip+ skin is made entirely from mohair and provides both grip and glide for classic skiing. The skin can be changed by hand to an eSKINRace cover if you want to use a setup intended for racing.
The G5 Universal base is designed for performance across different snow conditions. The World Cup-level universal stone grind supports glide, and the ski base is measured digitally after grinding to help ensure precision and performance.
The skis are supplied pre-waxed with Swix fluorine-free universal wax. Scrape the wax off the base before skiing.
The Salomon Equipe Pro Skin is available in three stiffness options:
Medium: recommended for skier weights from 55 to 90 kg, depending on ski length.
Stiff: recommended for skier weights from 65 to 100 kg, depending on ski length.
X-Stiff: available in 188 cm for 75–85 kg and in 206 cm for 100–120+ kg.
