Rab Men's Bigline Waterproof Ski Jacket – Men's Freeride Shell
The Rab Men's Bigline Waterproof Ski Jacket is designed for skiers seeking protection on deep-snow descents and long freeride lines. Its longer length and 3-layer Pertex® Shield fabric help protect against spindrift, slush and snow spray. The relaxed, freeride-specific fit allows freedom of movement across varied terrain and provides room for additional layers or insulation in midwinter conditions.
Waterproof Construction and Adjustable Fit
The jacket uses 40D Pertex® Shield fabric with a 3-layer construction and fluorocarbon-free DWR treatment. It has a hydrostatic head of 20,000 mm and breathability of 20,000 g/m²/24 hrs.
The ski helmet-compatible hood has two-way adjustment. Zipped underarm vents allow excess heat to escape during boot packs and ascents. Hook-and-loop cuff adjustments accommodate gloves, while soft stretch inner cuffs provide additional protection.
Practical Details for Freeride Skiing
The removable powder skirt helps keep snow out when skiing or falling in deep powder. The hem adjusts on both sides, with adjusters designed to be used while wearing mittens. A two-way YKK® VISLON® AquaGuard® front zip completes the jacket's technical features.
Storage is provided by five external pockets and an internal security pocket for items such as a ski pass, sunscreen and snacks. The jacket also features a RECCO® reflector to improve searchability in an avalanche.
