Description

The Mucky Nutz reflective Gut Fender is designed to protect your bike frame and rider from mud, grit and spray thrown up by the front wheel. Its reflective grey surface enhances visibility in low-light conditions, making the rider more noticeable from greater distances compared to standard colours. This adds an important safety benefit for road and off-road riding. Weighing only 40 grams, it is extremely lightweight and does not affect ride performance. The Gut Fender mounts to the bike’s down tube, providing effective protection for the midsection, frame and rear shock. Installation is quick and simple using the included Velcro strap system. The strap is 1 cm wide and approximately 80 cm long, and can be cut to fit the frame or fork circumference. It provides a strong, water-resistant and reusable attachment. Alternatively, cable ties can be used for a permanent installation. The Gut Fender can be used on its own or combined with a front mudguard for improved coverage. Its optimized dimensions (395–398 mm length and 120–130 mm width) ensure effective protection without interfering with cable routing. Made in the UK from recyclable materials, it is designed for long-term durability and sustainability.
