Waterproof leather hiking shoes with lightweight insulation

The Merrell Women's Speed Strike 2 Leather Thermo Mid Waterproof brings together the protective features of a leather hiking shoe and a more athletic style. Its full-grain leather and suede upper, waterproof membrane and lightweight insulation make it an option for outdoor use when protection from moisture and added warmth are important.

The waterproof membrane seals out water while allowing moisture to escape. The upper combines waterproof full-grain leather and waterproof suede leather. Lightweight, low-bulk synthetic insulation weighing 200 g provides additional warmth and comfort.

Merrell's sticky rubber outsole is designed to provide traction. The lightweight EVA foam midsole supports stability and comfort, while the padded collar adds cushioning around the ankle. The bellows tongue helps keep debris out of the shoe.

Inside, a lining made from 100% recycled fleece complements the insulation. The removable EVA foam footbed contains 50% recycled material, and its mesh cover is made with 50% recycled mesh.

Cleansport NXT™ treatment is designed for natural odor control. According to the manufacturer, its probiotic technology bonds to the lining fabric to reduce odor-causing material.
