Merrell Speed Strike 2 men's shoes combine the practical features of a hiking shoe with a more athletic look. The shoe has a waterproof construction designed to keep water out while allowing moisture to escape.
The upper combines leather and suede, while the 200 g lightweight insulation provides warmth and comfort without adding unnecessary bulk. The removable EVA foam footbed contains 50% recycled material, and its cover contains 50% recycled mesh.
A lightweight EVA foam midsole provides stability and comfort underfoot. The rubber outsole provides traction, while the 4 mm lug depth adds grip underfoot.
The Speed Strike 2 also features a padded collar and a bellows tongue that helps keep debris out of the shoe. The laces and webbing are made from 100% recycled materials, and the fleece lining is also made from 100% recycled material.
The footbed features CleanSport NXT™ treatment for natural odor control. Metallic hardware completes the lacing system.
