Description

Women's Moab Speed 2 Mid GORE-TEX® brings together Merrell's hiking expertise with the latest innovations for moving through the outdoors. The design combines knowledge gained from the best-selling Merrell Moab hiking boot with new technologies developed for outdoor performance.

Traction has been improved with Vibram TC5+ rubber, specially formulated for Merrell, together with a new outsole design and traction lugs. The amount of foam underfoot has been increased by 30% for added comfort. Breathability has also been significantly improved using knowledge gained from Merrell's Test Lab trail running range.

Lightweight FlexPlate™ technology provides torsional rigidity and lateral stability while maintaining flexibility in the forefoot. A full-length rock plate helps provide confidence on the trail in a range of conditions.

The GORE-TEX® waterproof membrane provides both breathability and waterproof performance to help keep feet dry in inclement weather. The upper combines nylon ripstop and TPU. A padded collar provides added comfort, while the bellows tongue helps keep debris out.

The shoe features a protective and abrasion-resistant synthetic heel and toe cap. Dual heel and tongue loops make the shoe easier to put on and also provide carabiner compatibility.

The FloatPro™ foam midsole provides exceptional energy return and enduring comfort. The Vibram TC5+ outsole is formulated for Merrell and designed for outdoor multi-sport activities. Vibram traction lugs are designed to increase traction and shed debris with each step.

The shoe also features Cleansport NXT™ treatment for natural odor control.
