Haglöfs ROC Flash Down Hood Women – lightweight warmth for demanding mountain use
The Haglöfs ROC Flash Down Hood Women is a lightweight, warm technical jacket designed for alpine movement, climbing and demanding mountain hikes. It combines high-quality down insulation with synthetic MIMIC sheet insulation, with each type of insulation positioned according to the needs of different areas of the jacket. Down provides warmth through the main body, while MIMIC insulation is used in areas exposed to abrasion.
The outer fabric is made from lightweight and durable Pertex® Quantum ripstop. The shell is made from 100% recycled polyamide and is designed to provide weather protection while allowing air to circulate. A channelled quilting construction helps prevent cold spots, while the distinctive offset quilting gives the jacket its characteristic look.
Insulation and protection extend into the helmet-compatible hood. The insulated hood is adjustable, allowing it to be adapted to the conditions. A high stand collar with an integrated chin guard adds coverage around the neck and chin, while the longer back hem provides additional protection.
The ROC Flash Down Hood Women is equipped with practical features for active use. The front has a two-way zipper with an insulated storm flap. Two zipped hand pockets provide storage, while a protected inner chest pocket offers an additional place for essentials. The insulated adjustable hem allows the fit to be adjusted, and the elasticated cuffs are concealed within the construction.
The jacket uses Haglöfs H DOWN Gold with a 700 CUIN fill power and a composition of 85% down and 15% feathers. The down is 100% RDS certified and certified by Control Union CU846100. It also has a DWR treatment without intentionally added PFAS. MIMIC SILVER sheet insulation is made from recycled polyester. The jacket can be used as either an outer layer or a midlayer.
