The Minion DHR II was the most widely used race-winning tire in downhill competitions worldwide during the 2021 season. It is slightly lighter than the Minion DHF, differing primarily in its wider, more squared-off center knobs. These broad, heavily ramped center knobs provide the DHR II with unbeatable traction and braking grip—while still allowing it to roll surprisingly fast.
Compared to the DHF, the DHR II feels slightly more floaty due to its wider center tread, and the transition from center knobs to side knobs in corners is very predictable.
