- Manual:
1. Close zippers and Velcro
2. Dispense the detergent: 1/2 cap (25 ml) washes one jacket or two mid-layer or fleece products.
3. Add clothes. Wash with a warm program that includes rinsing. The impregnation works effectively even at 30 degrees. Let the washing machine go through the entire washing and rinsing program. Do not use fabric softener.
4. Empty the machine and let the clothes dry or use tumble drying if the washing instructions for the clothes allow it.
5. If you want to impregnate the garment immediately after washing, check the instructions for use of the impregnating agent to see if it can be used on a wet garment or if it must be allowed to dry first. - If the equipment is very dirty, you can put the substance directly on the stain before washing.
- FYI: Performance Wash detergent and Clothing Repel impregnant are slightly more effective when used separately than Granger’s 2 in 1 Wash and Repel, which has both together. The manufacturer recommends washing and impregnating every fourth time with separate agents, so that the performance of the equipment remains as good as possible.
